Filming on the next series of Emily in Paris has been pushed back
It’s unlikely any new episodes will be shot before autumn this year
Variety reports production on the next instalment of the hit Netflix show has been hit with delays.
Filming is believed to have been pushed back by two months due to the ongoing writers strike.
It now means it’s unlikely any new episodes will be shot before autumn this year.
One of the show’s stars, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, previously addressed the ongoing disruption.
She told Variety on whether the show was delayed: “A little bit. We’re waiting for it to be resolved. We’ll see how it settles!”
Fans have been left devastated by the news and took to social media to comment on the developments.
One said: “No new Stranger Things. No new Emily In Paris. Seems like the strike that wasn’t supposed to have any impact is having an impact.”
A second wrote: “Ugh! waiting patiently for S4.”
“I’m so inpatient for the next series I want it now,” said a third.
Meanwhile, Emily in Paris star Lily Collins was recently robbed while at a spa in West Hollywood.
The 34-year-old’s engagement ring, wedding band and some other items were stolen while she was unwittingly relaxing.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies are currently investigating and there was no sign of a forced entry.
